Perfect Moment, a skiwear label founded in Chamonix, France, in 1984, has unveiled a men's fall 2026 capsule that returns to its technical roots. A capsule is a small, limited group of pieces that sits apart from a brand's main range. WWD reported the launch on 2 November 2026.

The clothes are meant for the slopes and for everyday wear off them. The range includes technical outerwear, ski trousers, quilted jackets, elevated jumpers and knitwear made from merino and alpaca blends. Merino is a fine wool from sheep. Alpaca is a soft fibre from the animal of the same name.

The men's pieces sell for between $195 and $1,595, according to WWD. The construction details are practical. The capsule uses bonded seams, which are fused together rather than only stitched, along with waterproof fabrics and seam-sealed zippers. It also has reflective side stripes and linings printed with a mountain pattern.

Jane Gottschalk is the cofounder and creative director of Perfect Moment. In 2012, she and her husband, Max, took ownership of the company. The label sells online and through retailers including Mytheresa, Net-a-porter, Harrods, Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

The brand has also worked with other companies on skiwear. In March 2025, it agreed a multiyear deal with the BWT Alpine Formula One Team, the motor racing team, to launch a capsule skiwear collection. In November 2025, it announced a collaboration with H&M, the Swedish fast-fashion retailer, on an après-ski capsule. Après-ski refers to clothes worn off the slopes after a day of skiing. Vogue reported that the H&M capsule comprised 28 pieces, including down-filled outerwear, separates, knitwear and winter accessories.

Perfect Moment also offers a PM x BOSS collection, with men's, women's and accessory pieces. The brand describes that range as performance-led, with co-created statement prints and colours. BOSS is the German fashion house Hugo Boss.

The men's capsule keeps the brand's ski-first origin at the centre of its menswear, and its partnerships show how far that origin now reaches, from a racing team to a high-street chain. The label's own account of the new pieces is that they work on the mountain and in town alike.
