Harry Styles Thanks New York in a Special Village Voice Issue

Harry Styles has marked the end of his 30-night run at Madison Square Garden with a special print edition of The Village Voice, the New York weekly paper. The issue was published on Nov. 2 and includes a letter to readers written by Styles.
The run, called Together, Together, is a residency, meaning a series of shows in one venue. The New York shows ended on Oct. 31. Styles started them in late August, after the tour had already played Amsterdam, London, São Paulo and Mexico City.
In the letter, Styles says he lived and worked in New York City for the past three months. He closes with "Until next time, take care of each other, New York." The issue opens with a note addressed to "friends," according to Vogue.
The paper is full of concert photos and pieces on the four openers: Tinashe, Jamie xx, Caroline Polachek and Lainey Wilson. It also covers the Together, Together band and crew, and four charitable partners: Planned Parenthood, Food Bank For NYC, HeadCount and Choose Love.
Anna Wintour, the longtime editor of Vogue, contributed an op-ed about Styles. In it she urges him to return to New York, and she pitches a stage version of Singin' in the Rain starring him. The issue does not say whether either idea is under consideration.
The tour supports Styles' fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, which topped the Billboard 200, the Billboard chart that ranks the best-selling albums in the United States each week.
The shows are not over. Styles will resume live performances in late November with dates in Australia. Next year, Together, Together heads to North America and Europe.
For the crew, a 30-night run in one city meant a long stretch of the same stage, the same schedule and the same city, now closed out with a page in a newspaper. The issue is a thank-you, and it makes the people behind the shows as visible as the star.
