Both Final Fantasy VII games are on sale for under US$8 on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop, and the discounts run until 16 November. Video Games Chronicle reported the prices on 3 November 2026.

The eShop is Nintendo's digital store, where players buy and download games instead of using a physical cartridge. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the first game in the series' remake, is 80% off. It costs US$7.99, €9.99 or £7.99. Its Digital Deluxe Edition, the higher-priced version, is down to US$11.99, €13.99 or £10.99.

The second game, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, has the bigger cut at 85%. It costs US$7.49, €8.99 or £7.49. The Digital Deluxe Edition is listed at US$10.49, €11.99 or £9.74.

The discounts apply in the UK, Europe, the US and Canada. Publisher Square Enix is running the sale on the Switch 2 and the older Switch eShop, which includes both games, Polygon reported on 2 November.

For players who have had the games on their wishlist, the window is about two weeks. After 16 November, the listed prices are the ones that will apply, unless Square Enix announces a new promotion.

Both games are part of a single story. Remake covers the opening section of the original 1997 role-playing game, and Rebirth continues from there. Players who want to start with the first part can buy it on its own, and the sale does not require buying both.
