Chris Jericho Leads Creature Horror I Am The Teeth Into the American Film Market

Epic Pictures Group will show its creature horror film I Am The Teeth to international buyers at the American Film Market in Los Angeles next week. Deadline reported the casting and the plans on 3 November 2026.
The headline name is Chris Jericho, the former professional wrestler, who plays a bounty hunter known as The Hunter. Hope Jordan is cast as Mae, and Thomas Parobek is also in the cast. Scott B. Hansen is directing the film, which is produced under Epic's Dread Originals label, its horror banner.
The American Film Market, usually called AFM, is a trade show where sales agents and distributors buy and sell the rights to films, often before they are finished. Epic is bringing exclusive footage from the film to the event, meaning clips that the public has not yet seen.
Epic is also co-financing the film, which means it is paying part of the cost of making it. To help sell it, the company has filmed select scenes as a proof-of-concept, a short sample meant to show buyers what the finished movie could look like.
The rest of the shoot is planned for the first quarter of 2027, the January to March period. Until then, the pitch rests on the footage and the cast list. For buyers, the sample is a chance to judge the film before most of it exists.
Film markets like AFM work on a simple timetable. Deals struck in November can shape which countries a film reaches, and when, long after cameras stop rolling. Nothing about I Am The Teeth's release dates or distribution partners has been announced yet.
