Isabella Pappas, Heidi Berger and Nico Greetham have joined the cast of Survive: The Game, a horror film currently shooting in Spain's Basque region, Deadline reported on 4 November 2026.

The three actors complete the lead group. They join Olivia Holt, Jaimie Alexander and Rohan Campbell, whose casting was reported by Deadline in late October. Holt, Alexander and Campbell were already attached when the film's horror genre was reported.

The shoot is taking place at Zinealdea Studios in Gipuzkoa, a province in the Basque Country in northern Spain. Filming there is under way, according to the same reporting.

The film is directed by Scout Taylor-Compton, who also co-wrote the script with Michael Kennedy. Taylor-Compton is one of the producers, alongside Tom O'Connell at Building Blocks Productions. Randy Wayne and Talia Bella produce through Rebellium Films, and Amy Covell produces through Red Phoenix Productions.

Casting is split between two teams. Jonathan Clay Harris handles casting in the United States, and Luci Lenox handles casting in Europe. Casting directors find and audition the actors for each role, so a production with a base in one country and a shoot in another often hires people in both places.

For a film in production, the cast list is one of the first public signs of progress. Each name confirmed moves the project further from the script stage and closer to the cameras. The new additions were announced as filming continued in Gipuzkoa, so the team in Spain has already begun work with the full ensemble.

Survive: The Game is one of many projects that move through this kind of pipeline every year: a script, a financing plan, a crew hired abroad, and then a cast announced in stages. The stages do not always come in the same order, but each one is a decision made by a named person.
