Nick Hall Signs Producing Deal With Vice Studios

Producer Nick Hall has signed a producing deal with Vice Studios, Deadline reported on 4 November 2026. The deal is non-exclusive, meaning Hall can work with other studios while he develops and produces scripted series under Vice.
Hall works through his own banner, Hallogram. Under the deal, he will develop and produce scripted projects for Vice Studios. Scripted means shows with a written script, as opposed to unscripted formats such as reality or game shows.
The first two projects attached to the deal are both comedies with a literary or real-world link. Hall will executive produce the TV adaptation of Anika Jade Levy's debut novel, Flat Earth. Levy is writing the adaptation with Sam Zvibleman, co-creator of the comedy Pen15.
Hall will also executive produce Work Husbands, a workplace comedy. The show is loosely based on the real-life relationship of two Gen Z marketers, Nate Jones and Ziad Ahmed.
Hall has a track record in prestige television. He executive produced season one of The White Lotus, for which he won an Emmy in 2022. He also produced Luca Guadagnino's We Are Who We Are for HBO and Sky Atlantic, and FX's The Shards. His credits include Icon of French Cinema, a French-language series co-produced with A24 and Arte.
Vice Studios is the film and television arm of the Vice brand. Amy Powell is the studio's president. The company was acquired out of bankruptcy in 2023 by Fortress Investment Group, Soros Fund Management and Monroe Capital, for $225 million.
The studio's development slate is wide. It includes Capital, a crime drama from Guy Ritchie that is in development at Amazon MGM Studios UK. Vice is also developing a scripted drama with Pablo Torre about sports ownership, extreme wealth and corruption. A third project is an adaptation of the Payday video game franchise, being developed with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.
In development means a project is being written and prepared but has not been ordered for broadcast or streaming. None of the Hall projects has a platform or air date, so the next step to watch is whether one of them is sold to a buyer.
Hall is represented by attorney Jared Bloch.
For a producer, a deal like this sets up a pipeline. A non-exclusive arrangement lets him take projects to several buyers, while Vice gets access to his development work. Whether either project reaches a screen will depend on a buyer ordering a series, and that decision is still ahead.
