Funko Adds Miniature ACOTAR Sets Featuring Cassian, Azriel, Morrigan and Amren

Funko's new A Court of Thorns and Roses collectibles go on sale at Target from November 4, both in stores and online. The range is a miniature line called Bitty POP! Books, and its debut includes four characters who have not had figures in the series' earlier releases: Cassian, Azriel, Morrigan and Amren.
The line is new for Funko, the toy and collectibles company. Each set comes in a collectible box shaped like a book, with a bookmark shaped like Prythian, the fictional land where Sarah J. Maas' fantasy novels are set. The first two sets are based on A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury. The sets were made with IMG Licensing, the agency that represents Maas' work, according to Variety.
The Thorns and Roses set includes a Spring Court Manor building and figures of Feyre (Solstice), Rhysand (with Wings), Tamlin and Lucien. The Mist and Fury set includes a Moonstone Palace building and the four new figures. Funko's first round of ACOTAR products appeared in September, ahead of the October 27 release of A Court of Splintered Harmony, the sixth book in the series.
That book sold 1.7 million copies in its first 24 hours, Variety reported. Funko chief executive Josh Simon said the series has been the No. 1 licence for first-time customer purchases on Funko's direct-to-consumer site, meaning its own online store, since the early-September launch. He also said three out of four customers buying the ACOTAR line are women.
Target says its ACOTAR collection is nearly 85% exclusive to the chain. Most items in it cost less than $20. Funko's own limited-edition calendar lists a Target exclusive as coming soon.
For collectors, the practical picture is simple. The Bitty POP! Books sets are on sale at Target now, and most of the wider ACOTAR collection can only be bought there. Funko's official ACOTAR collection page on its website lists figures, collectibles and games from the wider range.
