Mass Effect Merch Teasers Land Ahead of N7 Day as Fans Push to Save the Series

Dark Horse Direct has teased a new Mass Effect statuette, a collectible figure, due to be unveiled on 6 November for N7 Day. YouTooz has also teased its own Mass Effect merchandise release for the fan celebration.
N7 Day is a fan celebration of the Mass Effect series, one that BioWare often marked with official reveals. This year's day is the first since EA shut down BioWare and cancelled Mass Effect Universe, a game that was still in development. VGC reported the merchandise teasers on 4 November.
Dark Horse said its N7 Day reveal was planned before BioWare's closure. The company said it kept the reveal to give fans something to look forward to.
BioWare's own N7 Day posts show how the day has been marked in the past. In 2015, the studio advertised a Mass Effect Trilogy celebration with giveaways and merch deals. BioWare's 2020 post used the day to outline what the Mass Effect Legendary Edition would include. In 2023, the offerings included a mini replica Claymore Shotgun and Omni-Blade LED wall art. The 2024 post announced new merch in the BioWare store, along with cross-promotions with No Man's Sky and Destiny 2. The 2025 post promoted new Mass Effect gear celebrations on the studio's social channels. EA's Mass Effect page also lists N7 Day celebrations for 2022 through 2025.
The franchise's television future is separate from the games. The Amazon Mass Effect TV series remains in production, and the company's statement on the closure did not affect it, according to VGC.
Fans have also started the Save Mass Effect campaign. It pushes for the series to continue beyond the TV show. Whether that campaign has any effect on EA's plans is not yet clear, and no new game has been announced.
For fans, this N7 Day brings a mix of new collectibles and an open question about what comes next for the games. The 6 November statuette reveal is the next dated event on the calendar.
