Inde Navarette's Halloween episode of Saturday Night Live drew 5.2 million viewers, the largest audience of Season 52 so far, according to Variety. The show's new season is now in its 52nd run, and that number puts the episode ahead of earlier hosts Jalen Brunson, Dakota Johnson and Shane Gillis.

The episode did well in other measures too. Variety reported that it was the best performance on Peacock, the streaming service that carries new episodes, since a March episode of Season 51 hosted by Harry Styles. It also scored the show's best rating among adults aged 18 to 49, a group that advertisers often target, since a November 2024 episode hosted by John Mulaney.

To put 5.2 million in context, only two episodes of Season 51 went higher. The season finale, hosted by Will Ferrell with Paul McCartney as musical guest, drew 5.3 million. The December 2025 episode hosted by Ariana Grande, with Cher as musical guest, drew 5.4 million. That was also the final episode for Bowen Yang as a cast member.

Clips from the Navarette episode were also widely shared. Video content from the show was viewed 325 million times across YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok, which Variety described as a season high. Those views are counted separately from the television audience.

On the night itself, Gracie Abrams performed as musical guest. Tom Hanks returned to his David S. Pumpkins sketch alongside Bobby Moynihan, a recurring bit that has been part of the show for years. Navarette also stars in Obsession, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The next two hosts are already set. Druski will host on November 7, with the Strokes as musical guest. On November 14, John Mulaney returns for his seventh time as host, with Phoebe Bridgers as musical guest.

For viewers, the schedule is simple. New episodes air live on Saturday nights, and the following week's host and guest are announced in advance.
