This Is Lorelei, the solo project of singer-songwriter Nate Amos, has played five songs from its latest album in a live session for KCRW, the public radio station. Pitchfork published the session video on 4 November 2026, and KCRW hosts it on its own page titled "This Is Lorelei: Live On KCRW."

The songs come from The Singer in My Band, which came out in September. It is This is Lorelei's first record for Matador, the record label.

The set opened and moved through "Billy Came Back," "I Will Eat My Heart In The Morning Light" and "Watching Heaven Fall," before the title track, "The Singer in My Band." The session ended with "The Kid With The Crown."

Amos was joined by three musicians: bassist Al Nardo, keyboardist Bailey Wollowitz and drummer Cameron Wisch. Keeping the line-up to four people means the songs are played by a small group in one room, which is a different setting from a studio recording with many layers.

Amos is also a member of the band Water from Your Eyes, according to KCRW, which has covered his work in its own pages. Anyone who wants to hear the session can find the full performance on the KCRW page and the Pitchfork video.

For listeners new to the project, the session is a way to hear the album's songs performed live by the people who played them on the session, with the band's arrangements kept to the bass, keys and drums heard in the room.
