Cristian Castro Signs Management Deal With Enso Music

Cristian Castro has signed a management deal with Enso Music, Billboard announced exclusively on Thursday, 5 November. He will be managed under the guidance of Enso Music chief executive Jorge Juárez.
A manager handles much of an artist's day-to-day career planning and business decisions, and is usually paid a percentage of the artist's earnings. The deal comes a few weeks after Castro was honoured at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, where he received the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award on 22 October. The honour recognised a career that spans more than three decades and his continuing influence on Latin music.
His chart history goes back to 1992, when "No Podrás" entered Hot Latin Songs, Billboard's weekly ranking of Latin songs, and peaked at No. 3. His debut album, Agua Nueva, reached No. 2 on Top Latin Pop Albums in January 1993. Castro has since earned six No. 1s on Hot Latin Songs.
Three of those chart-toppers stayed at the top for a while. "Nunca Voy a Olvidarte" spent four weeks at No. 1, "Azul" spent nine weeks, and "Amor" spent 11.
In 2011, his album Viva El Príncipe spent seven weeks at No. 1 on Top Latin Albums, Billboard's weekly chart of Latin albums. The record is a tribute to the Mexican singer José José. Billboard also reports that Castro has sold more than 12 million albums, a total that counts both physical copies and digital sales.
Castro's live schedule is busy. His Nada Solo Éxitos Tour opened on 11 September in Las Vegas and runs through March 2027. A new album is slated for 2027 as well.
For fans, the tour dates are the next thing to check. The album has no release date beyond the year, so the next firm news will come from the tour and from his team.
