Jeremy Renner Set for London Gang Thriller '12 Bullets'

Jeremy Renner is set to star in 12 Bullets, an action thriller about a lone fighter taking on London's criminal gangs. The project was reported by Deadline on 5 November 2026.
The premise is simple. A mysterious American wages a one-man war against rival gangs in London, armed with a single gun and twelve bullets. The title is the story's rule book, and the film's hook.
Sean Ellis is directing from a script by Tim Walker. Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee are producing for Thunder Road, the company behind the project.
Sky and Thunder Road developed the film together. It will be released in the UK and Ireland as a Sky Original, meaning a title that Sky commissions and puts out on its own service. A release date for other territories has not been set.
Selling the film to the rest of the world is the next step. Legendary's label 193 is launching international sales on 12 Bullets ahead of the American Film Market in Los Angeles. The AFM is a trade event where sales companies show films, and hopeful projects, to distributors from many countries. International sales means offering the film to buyers outside the United States and Canada.
The United States and Canada are handled separately. CAA Media Finance is representing North American rights, the right to sell and release the film in those two countries.
Those splits matter because each territory can be sold to a different buyer on different terms. A single film can end up with several distributors, each paying for the rights in its own market. The deals that come out of the AFM often shape which screens a film reaches, and when.
For now, the story is about the cast, the crew and the buyers. The film is in the early stage of its life, and its route to cinemas, streaming or television is still being mapped out.
