Rush Sets Five-Night Sphere Residency for May 2027
Rush will return to Las Vegas next spring with a five-night residency at the Sphere, according to Rolling Stone. The residency is titled "Elevate From the Norm" and runs on May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30, 2027.
Presales begin Friday, 6 November. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, 13 November. The band's official website lists the same five dates.
The Sphere is a dome-shaped venue with a huge interior screen, and U2 opened the building with its first residency. Rush's shows there will include full-album performances of 2112 and Moving Pictures. The second of those albums is the band's top-selling record, and the tour that followed it ran from September 1980 to July 1981, according to Rush's website.
The Sphere dates sit alongside the band's "Fifty Something" tour, which celebrates more than fifty years of Rush music and honours the late drummer Neil Peart. The tour opened with four dates in Los Angeles, where the band introduced drummer Anika Nilles.
On 31 August 2026, the band announced four more cities for the tour: Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Those arena shows take place in October and November 2026.
For fans who missed the Los Angeles shows, the arena dates are the nearest chance to see the current lineup before the Las Vegas run. Anyone planning to attend the Sphere should check the venue's own ticketing pages for prices and fees.
