UK jungle producer Tim Reaper has announced his debut solo album, World's End, which Hyperdub will release on February 19. Pitchfork reported the announcement on 5 November 2026. Hyperdub's own product listing places the release in February 2027.

Jungle is a fast, chopped-up style of electronic dance music that grew out of British rave culture in the early 1990s. Reaper's album builds on that sound while drawing on other dance traditions. According to Pitchfork, it takes inspiration from gqom, a South African style, from footwork, a fast dance music from Chicago, from drill, and from techno.

The first single is "Roll Call," which Pitchfork describes as marching band-inspired. The track also opens the album, a placement Resident Advisor confirmed in its own coverage. Reaper's previous release was the Scorched Earth EP, issued in 2024.

The album has 11 tracks. They are "Roll Call," "Dustbowl," "Fangs," "Aim Assist," "Subspace," "Emergency Loop," "Feeding Frenzy," "Impending Doom," "Hard Rain," "Sudden Death" and "Widespread Panic." Track titles of that kind, many of them drawn from video game and battle language, give a sense of the album's mood before a note is heard.

For a general listener, the practical point is timing. The album is not out yet, and the date to remember is February 19. Anyone curious about the sound can start with "Roll Call," the single that introduces the record.

Releases like this one are announced months ahead so that shops, radio stations and streaming playlists have time to plan. A debut from an independent electronic label can also reach listeners through the same channels as a major-label pop album, which is one reason the release calendar matters for everyone in the business.
