Filming has wrapped on Killing Time, a psychological home-invasion thriller, according to Deadline. Principal photography, the main shoot when most scenes are filmed, is now complete.

The story follows a couple on the run after a bank robbery and a murder spree. They take refuge in the home of an affluent married couple, and the tension comes from who is willing to trust whom. Freddie Prinze Jr., Shelley Hennig and Sasha Pieterse star. William Moseley, Michael Evans Behling and Michael Sirow also appear.

Joshua Friedman directed the film. He wrote it with Ward Anderson and Marc Morgenstern. Larry Greenberg, Eric Brenner, Raja Collins, Linda Duncombe, German Michael Torres and Friedman himself are credited as producers. Berry Meyerowitz, Jeff Sackman and Eduard Osipov are executive producers.

The film carries a sad note. Linda Duncombe died in the month before the wrap was announced, and Killing Time is her final production.

Two deals are now in place. Quiver Distribution will release the film in North America in 2027. "North America" means the United States and Canada. The Exchange will handle international sales, which means it will offer the film to cinemas and streaming services in other countries. Deadline reported that The Exchange will do this work at the American Film Market, the trade event where sales agents pitch films to buyers.

Deals like these shape what audiences eventually see. A film often reaches screens months or years after its last shot, and the release date is set by the distributor. For now, the next public milestones are the AFM sales and the 2027 North American release.
