Crime thriller Hannibal Inside pitches at Taipei's creative content fest

A crime thriller called Hannibal Inside is being presented in Taipei this week, at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF). The fest runs from 6 to 9 November at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
The series comes from Studio76. It follows an amnesiac sashimi chef who was once the star surgeon of an organ-trafficking syndicate. He does not remember that past life, and the show is built around what happens when it starts to come back.
The series is adapted from the novel The Monster Community. Studio76 picked up the book from Kadokawa Taiwan, according to Variety. Ray Jiang is the director, and Dennis Yang is listed as a producer.
The project is still early. It is in pre-development, meaning the show has not yet been fully funded or put into production. The full episode outlines are finished, and the scripts are in progress.
A pitch is a short presentation to buyers and partners. It is how a project looks for the money, and the broadcaster or streaming service, that could take it from script to screen. Studio76 has done this before. Its earlier projects The Brides Town and The Swamp Thing were picked to pitch in person at Series Mania, a television festival in Lille, France.
The TCCF is organised by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), a government-backed body that supports Taiwanese screen content. Its pitching programme selected 70 projects for the 2026 showcase, according to Screen Daily.
For now, Hannibal Inside is one of those 70 projects. Its next step is finding backers. Until that happens, there is no set date, platform or cast to report.
