Apple TV Renews Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars for a Third Season

Apple TV has renewed Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars for a third season, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 6 November 2026. A renewal means the platform has chosen to make more episodes of a show.
The series is a docuseries, meaning a documentary-style programme that follows real people over time. Its subject is chefs competing to earn Michelin stars, the ratings the Michelin Guide gives to restaurants. The show is hosted by Jesse Burgess, who is also the frontman and co-founder of TopJaw.
Gordon Ramsay is one of the executive producers, alongside Lisa Edwards, Lorraine Charker-Phillips and Jill Greenwood. The series is made by Studio Ramsay Global, a Fox Entertainment Company. James Callum is the series director, the person who leads the filming and shapes the episodes on screen.
The first two seasons each have eight episodes, and both are streaming on Apple TV. Apple announced the second-season renewal on 20 May 2026. In September, the company released a trailer for that season, which opened on 25 September 2026 with two episodes. The show also received a nomination at the BAFTA Television Awards, according to Apple's September announcement.
For viewers, the news is simple. The series is continuing, and a third season is on its way. Apple has not been quoted in the reporting setting out when the new episodes will arrive or how many there will be.
Behind every season is a working crew. A renewal keeps the producers, editors, camera operators and kitchen-set teams in their jobs for another run. It also gives the chefs who take part a fresh chance to appear on screen, a point that matters in a competition built around restaurants that work hard to keep their stars.
Apple TV has not said how many episodes the third season will have, and the renewal has not been tied to a date.
