Vaughn and Ronaldo's Stuntnuts Heads to the American Film Market

Stuntnuts, the first film from the Matthew Vaughn and Cristiano Ronaldo joint venture UR MARV, is going to market. Deadline reported on 6 November 2026 that the irreverent action comedy will have its first market screening at the American Film Market (AFM), the Los Angeles fair where sellers show unfinished or finished films to buyers from around the world.
The film will be offered for sale at the AFM by Legendary's sales label 193, run by Patrick Wachsberger. For Ronaldo, it is a first producing credit. For Vaughn, a producer and director known for action films, it is the first project to come out of UR MARV, the film and television company the two men run together.
The story is about two stunt performers who take jobs on a Hollywood blockbuster to save their community gym. Bobby Holland Hanton, Greg Townley, Paul Lowe and Haruka Oshima play the stunt artists at the centre of it. Damien Walters directs.
Two better-known faces also appear. Chris Hemsworth and Sam Rockwell play heightened versions of themselves, and Matt Damon has a cameo, according to the same Deadline report.
Vaughn's work is also heading into production elsewhere. The Playlist reported on 31 July 2026 that the two are teaming up on a soccer television series called "Day 1s". The show centres on the working life of a UK soccer agent, and it is Vaughn's next directing effort. Damian Lewis is set to star.
A market screening is where a film is shown to potential distributors before it has a release in a given country. Sales deals struck at the AFM set which companies will put the film in cinemas or on screens in different territories. Stuntnuts has not yet been sold to any particular buyer. Its path from here depends on what happens at the market.
