Weezer and Hilary Duff to Be Honoured at Billboard's Live Music Summit in Los Angeles

Weezer and Hilary Duff will each receive an honour at Billboard's Live Music Summit 2026, which takes place in Los Angeles on 10 November, the magazine said.
The summit will be held at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood. The rock band Weezer will receive the Legends of Live Award, and it will appear in conversation with Jason Lipshutz, Billboard's co-chief content officer. Billboard reported the honours on 6 November 2026.
Duff will be recognised with the Outstanding Pop Tour of the Year award for her Lucky Me Tour. She will talk with Lyndsey Havens, a Billboard correspondent, about the tour. A tour award is given for the way a show is staged and run on the road, not for album sales.
The summit's programme includes several other sessions. Josephine Vaccerello, who works at MSG Entertainment, will join Billboard senior correspondent Kristin Robinson for a live taping of Billboard's On The Record. Leila Cobo, Billboard's other co-chief content officer, will moderate a panel on international touring. Its speakers are Guillermo "Memo" Parra of OCESA, Nidhish Varughese of Live Nation, Steve Collins of Oak View Group and Angie Rho of AEG Presents.
AEG Presents, a concert promoter that books and stages live shows, is hosting the summit's luncheon as a returning sponsor. Billboard has also published cover stories on both artists in connection with the event. Its Duff feature appeared on 5 November, and its Weezer feature on 6 November.
Live music is a business as well as a stage. Tours involve promoters, venues, ticket sales and crews who build and run each show. Panels like these give people in that work a chance to compare notes on how shows are planned and sold.
The summit runs on 10 November in Los Angeles.
