Hayley Williams has released a black-and-white music video for "Dream Girl in Shibuya," a song from her 2025 album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. The clip was reported by Pitchfork on 8 November 2026.

The video shows Williams lounging on a hotel bed with a guitar. It was filmed by Zachary Gray, who also edited the official version posted to YouTube on 7 November 2026.

The song was written by Williams and Daniel James, who also produced the album. James is a longtime collaborator, and the two have also launched a project together called Power Snatch.

Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party is Williams' third solo album. It is also her first independent release, meaning it came out without a major record label behind it. Major labels such as Universal, Sony and Warner usually handle a large part of an album's marketing, distribution and touring money, so going independent means an artist takes on more of those decisions and costs directly.

Williams is best known as the lead singer of Paramore, whose most recent album, This Is Why, came out in 2023. Her solo work has run alongside the band's schedule, and the new video is one of several visual pieces tied to the album's songs.

For fans, the video gives a new way into a track that has already been out for more than a year. A music video is a short film made to accompany a song, and labels and artists use them to keep older releases in front of listeners. Nothing in the video's release has been tied to a new album date, tour or chart position.

Williams and James have not announced further releases from the album. Anyone wanting to watch can find the official video on YouTube, and the full song is available on the major streaming services.
