Apple TV+ has unveiled the first teaser for Neuromancer, its adaptation of William Gibson's landmark 1984 science fiction novel, during its Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The series premieres 22 January 2027 on the streaming platform. Deadline

Callum Turner, a BAFTA winner, appeared via video to introduce the teaser to the Hall H crowd. He stars as Case, a damaged super-hacker. Briana Middleton plays Molly, a razor-girl assassin. The supporting cast is stacked: Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, Clémence Poésy, Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Junia Rees, Jordan Kouamé, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields and Isabella Pappas.

The series runs 10 episodes. Graham Roland and JD Dillard created it; Roland serves as showrunner (the lead writer who runs the production), and Dillard directed the first three episodes. Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content produce.

Behind the camera, the executive producer credits carry some unexpected names. Aubrey "Drake" Graham and Adel "Future" Nur are on board through their DreamCrew Entertainment banner. William Gibson himself holds an executive producer credit, meaning the author whose novel minted the term "cyberspace" has a say in how his work reaches the screen.

Apple first announced the series in February 2024 through its press site. Apple TV+ Press Eighteen months later, the Hall H teaser marks the first footage audiences have seen.

For a novel that has circled Hollywood for decades without landing a screen adaptation, the teaser is the moment fans finally get a look at the world of Case and Molly made real. The January 2027 premiere gives the production a full window to finish all 10 episodes before they begin reaching subscribers.

The cast, the authors-on-board detail, and the Comic-Con stage together tell viewers this is a straight-to-series bet — no pilot, no testing the water — on a property that has resisted adaptation since Ronald Reagan was in the White House.
