Mica and Samraj were dumped from the Love Island UK villa on Sunday night — then told they get to decide which other couple joins them on the way out.

Episode 56, which aired on 26 July 2026, brought former Islanders back to the Mallorca villa to vote on which of the five remaining couples should leave before the finale. Mica and Samraj received 8 out of 18 votes from the returning contestants and were sent packing (Deadline).

Before that vote, five couples were still standing: Yasmin and Tommy, Julia and Lorenzo, Angelista and Simba, Mica and Samraj, and Jasmine and Kavan. The ex-Islander ballot — a Love Island staple where past cast members return to weigh in on current pairings — narrowed the field to four.

Then came the twist. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Mica and Samraj, the couple just voted out, would themselves choose which of the remaining four couples gets dumped next. That decision will leave only three couples in the finale, rather than the four viewers might have expected.
