Friends and former collaborators of Linda Perhacs have issued a public plea for help finding the 82-year-old singer-songwriter, who they say has gone missing after being discharged from a residential care facility eight months ago.

The plea was written by Laurel Stearns, Perhacs' former manager, and posted on Perhacs' official Instagram account, @lindaperhacs, alongside a photograph of the musician. The caption read: "LINDA PERHACS FANS, WE NEED YOUR HELP. LINDA HAS GONE MISSING." Rolling Stone

According to the statement, Perhacs was discharged from the care facility under the supervision of her legal guardian. Since then, her friends and collaborators say they have been unable to reach Perhacs or her guardian.
