Tom Morello will release a solo album titled Everyone Gets Everything They Want on 25 September via Mom + Pop Music, the guitarist announced on 28 July. The 10-track record is co-written with his son, Roman Morello, and features guest appearances from System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian, Belfast rap trio Kneecap, Ohio metal band Beartooth, and Roman himself. A new single, "Date Night," has been issued as a preview — the second track released from the album. Roman Morello wrote the song's riff, and its subject is anything but ordinary: the true story of three young Dutch women who worked as spies, saboteurs, and assassins against Nazi forces during the Second World War. The elder Morello shared news of the album through his official Instagram account in July 2026, following an appearance at Download Festival earlier this year.

"Adjourn It," the first track released ahead of the album, pairs Tankian's vocals with Roman Morello's guitar and takes aim at racism and anti-immigrant bigotry in its lyrics. Mom + Pop Music, an independent label based in New York, will handle the release — a home that puts Morello alongside a roster including Courtney Barnett and Beach Bunny.

For fans, the album brings a family collaboration to the foreground. Roman Morello is credited as co-writer across the record and as a performer on at least two tracks, making the project as much a father-son venture as a solo statement. The guest list spans rap, metal, and rock — a deliberate crossing of genre lines that has been a hallmark of Morello's solo work outside his bands Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, and Prophets of Rage.

The announcement lands roughly two months before the album's release, giving listeners two singles to sit with while they wait for September.
