PlayStation Plus August Line-Up: Dying Light 2, Big Walk, and Signalis

PlayStation Plus subscribers get three new monthly games on August 4: Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis. Sony confirmed the line-up on the official PlayStation Blog on July 28, with Eurogamer and VGC corroborating the announcement the same day.

The selection spans two console generations. Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is available on both PS5 and PS4 — a bundled, updated version of Techland's open-world zombie survival game. Signalis, a retro-styled survival horror title, comes to PS4. Big Walk rounds out the list as a PS5 release.

Big Walk carries an extra draw for subscribers: it launches day one into PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, meaning members can play it at release without buying it separately. The game is described on the PlayStation Blog as a "co-op puzzler," and it comes from House House, the Australian studio behind Untitled Goose Game — the 2019 comedy game about a goose terrorising an English village. Big Walk was first confirmed for an August 4 PS5 launch during Sony's State of Play showcase in February.

Subscribers also get a Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls bonus pack as part of the August offering. According to Eurogamer, the pack includes five avatars — Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider — plus a set of in-game Result Screen Character Poses featuring 20 characters. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a fighting game; the poses are cosmetic displays shown on results screens after matches.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games are titles that Sony makes available at no extra charge to anyone subscribed to the Essential tier or above. Each month's batch is claimable for a limited window; once added to a library, the games remain playable as long as the subscription stays active. The August titles replace July's line-up.

For players who already own Dying Light 2, the Reloaded Edition bundles the base game with its post-launch updates into a single package. For those who held off, the PS Plus drop is a chance to pick up the most current version at no cost beyond the subscription itself.

Signalis, the smallest name of the three, has built a cult following since its 2022 release. Developed by rose-engine, it is a top-down survival horror game with a distinctive pixel-art aesthetic and a story drawing on Cold War imagery and cosmic horror influences.

The three games become available starting August 4. Sony's announcement aligns with details surfaced earlier: the official PlayStation Blog referenced the August line-up in a July 1 article about physical disc production, and the full reveal followed on July 28.

For fans of House House's particular brand of mischief, Big Walk's day-one inclusion is the headline. It gives subscribers immediate access to a new release from a studio with a proven track record for charm — and it arrives alongside a zombie survival epic and a cult horror gem.
