All four members of BLACKPINK have now appeared on Hot Ones, the YouTube interview show where guests answer questions while eating progressively hotter chicken wings. JISOO, the last of the quartet to take the seat, appeared on the Thursday, July 30 episode, titled "JISOO Is the Queen of Spice While Eating Spicy Wings | Hot Ones." Billboard confirmed the milestone.

Host Sean Evans told JISOO he had heard she has the highest spice tolerance in BLACKPINK, and the episode did little to contradict that. JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA each struggled with the heat on their respective episodes. JISOO, by contrast, said she eats spicy food in the two hours before a concert because it makes her sweat, relieves stress and relaxes her throat for singing. Between wings, JISOO discussed her upcoming debut solo full-length album. She said moving from group work to her solo EP — AMORTAGE, released in February 2025 — made her want to explore her "true colors" further on the new record. She said she made an effort to show a variety of charms on the album, including different musical styles. Billboard

JISOO also shared that her favourite English phrase, taught to her by her bandmates, is "Piece of cake!" — an upgrade from her previous go-to, "It's a pity." She said she likes dropping English phrases into conversation to surprise people around her with how much she knows. She is also a star of the series Boyfriend on Demand.
