Jason De Puy was sent packing from the Big Brother house on Thursday night, evicted by a unanimous 12–0 vote in Week 3 of Season 28. The episode aired July 30, 2026 on CBS, with Julie Chen Moonves hosting the live eviction (Deadline).

The week belonged to Kamu Kirk, who held the Head of Household title — the weekly power that lets one houseguest nominate others for eviction. Kirk put three names on the block: LaTrice Verrett, Lyric Medeiros, and Mallory Aurichio.

From there, the week twisted in several directions. Medeiros won the Power of Veto, a competition advantage that lets the winner pull themselves or someone else off the nomination block. She used it on herself, forcing Kirk to name a replacement. He chose Jason De Puy.

Then Aurichio won the BB Block Buster competition on live eviction night, earning safety for herself. That left De Puy and Verrett facing the vote.

Every single houseguest voted to evict De Puy. The twelve votes came from Haley, Chuk, Dee, Angela, Melody, Mallory, Drew, Barrett, Taylor, Lyric, Yash, and Devens. Verrett received zero votes to evict and stayed in the house (Deadline).

A 12–0 eviction is the cleanest possible result in Big Brother's voting format, where houseguests not on the block each cast a single vote to evict one of the nominees. It left no ambiguity about where the house stood.

For De Puy, the path out was sealed across multiple stages of the week — first named as a replacement nominee after the Veto ceremony, then unable to win safety in the live competition, and ultimately abandoned by every voting houseguest. The replacement nominee slot is always precarious: you arrive on the block late in the week, with less time to campaign than those nominated from the start. That disadvantage showed in the numbers.
