Slayyyter Drops "Brand New Chanel$" to Launch Worst Girl in the World Tour

Slayyyter released a new song, "Brand New Chanel$," on July 31, 2026, timed to coincide with the opening night of her Worst Girl in the World tour in her hometown of St. Louis. The track is available to stream on her official SoundCloud account, Pitchfork reported.

Fans had been waiting. Slayyyter had already debuted the song live on tour before officially announcing it as a single, according to Billboard Dance. She confirmed the release date on Instagram a day earlier, on July 30, posting that the song would arrive the following day. A music video teaser went up on YouTube the same day, telling viewers the track would be out Friday and directing them to subscribe to her channel. Her official YouTube channel also pushed Shorts promoting the release in the lead-up.

"Brand New Chanel$" lands roughly three months after Slayyyter's album Wor$t Girl in America, which was released in April 2026. The album cycle has already included her late-night television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed the song "Dance" in a beer-can bralette, as Pitchfork noted.

She has been profiled alongside Bella Kay and Trueno in a Billboard cover story, interviewed by Jason Lipshutz. In that interview, Slayyyter voiced scepticism about artificial intelligence: "I don't really like anything new — I don't even like a Roomba."

The Worst Girl in the World tour takes its name from the album title's sentiment, and the St. Louis opener served as the formal launch. Slayyyter had been teasing the single across social platforms, posting on X with the caption "EVIL SLAYYYTER : BRAND NEW CHANEL$" ahead of the drop.

For a pop artist whose rise has been built on online release strategies and direct fan engagement, the SoundCloud drop fits the pattern — new music pushed straight to listeners, with the tour as the staging ground.
