Tod's Names Becky Armstrong Brand Ambassador for Southeast Asia

Tod's, the Italian luxury leather-goods house, has named Thai British actress, singer and model Rebecca Patricia Armstrong — known as Becky — as its new brand ambassador for Southeast Asia. The appointment was announced on 4 August 2026. (WWD)
Armstrong was born in Bangkok to a Thai mother and British father. She began acting in 2020 with a supporting role in TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love, a sequel to the Thai series TharnType. Her breakout came in 2022 with her first leading role as Mon in Gap: The Series, Thailand's breakthrough girls' love drama — a genre centred on romantic relationships between women — and the first such production to air on Thai national television.
She has since expanded across platforms. Armstrong most recently starred in Netflix's Girl From Nowhere: The Reset and appeared in 4Elements: The Air, the first instalment of a four-part screen adaptation of a novel series by Thai author Salmon. Earlier this year she signed with Creative Artists Agency, the Los Angeles-based talent and sports agency, for representation.
Armstrong is also building a music career. She released her debut single, "Skin," on 1 May as the first track from an upcoming EP, and is signed with Wild Music Group for the venture.
Tod's described Armstrong as "renowned for her contemporary style, confidence and individuality," and as embodying a new generation of talent with strong relevance across Asia and beyond.
Her first appearance in the new role will be at the Tod's spring 2027 fashion show, scheduled for 25 September during Milan Fashion Week — the twice-yearly series of runway presentations in the Italian capital of design, where houses show their main seasonal collections.
Armstrong joins a roster of regional Tod's ambassadors that already includes global brand ambassador Xiao Zhan, a Chinese actor and singer; house ambassador Wayne Wang; Korean rapper and singer Han Ji-sung; and Japanese personalities Nana Eikura and Shota Watanabe. The Italian house has been building a network of Asia-focused faces as luxury spending in the region continues to shape the industry's growth.
For fans of Southeast Asian entertainment, the Tod's appointment adds a fashion dimension to an already busy year for Armstrong, who has moved from Thai television to streaming and now to a European luxury house's front row.
