Linkin Park's documentary Unshatter will arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 30, with a companion live soundtrack landing five days earlier, on September 25. Deadline reported the release plans exclusively on August 4.

The film is directed by Joe Hahn, the band's turntablist and visual director, and is a co-production between Linkin Park, CJ 4DPlex and Trafalgar — the latter two being companies that specialise in premium large-format and event-cinema distribution. Cinemas will screen it in three formats: standard 2D, ScreenX (a 270-degree panoramic projection system) and 4DX (seats that move and sync environmental effects to the on-screen action).

Unshatter traces the band through what Deadline describes as loss, resilience and creative reinvention, culminating in the From Zero era and live performances in São Paulo, Brazil. The documentary blends rare archival footage, candid behind-the-scenes moments, intimate studio sessions and concert material, following Linkin Park from early recording sessions in 2022. It also introduces the next chapter of the band with Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain, who joined the lineup as the group returned to activity.

The companion soundtrack, Unshatter (Live From São Paulo), is scheduled for September 25, timed to the film's theatrical run.

For fans, the September window places the documentary squarely in the autumn corridor — a period when studios and event-cinema distributors often programme music titles ahead of the holiday season. The multi-format release, spanning standard screens to immersive 4DX auditoriums, gives the film a footprint that few music documentaries receive.
