Spotify Hosts Klub KATSEYE in New York Ahead of WILD EP Release

Spotify will host Klub KATSEYE, an invite-only fan event in New York City on 11 August, celebrating the release of KATSEYE's upcoming EP, WILD. The event is exclusive to the group's top Spotify listeners — known as EYEKONS — and will feature immersive, album-inspired installations along with a live performance from the group, according to Billboard. Exclusive video content from the evening will be available on Spotify later in August.
The EP itself arrives on 14 August as a five-track release, with a six-track Target exclusive edition that includes a track written and produced by member Lara Raj (Billboard). KATSEYE's music is released through HYBE x Geffen Records (Target Center).
Klub KATSEYE caps a strong chart run for the group. Their previous EP, Beautiful Chaos, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 — the chart that ranks the most consumed albums in the US — marking their first entry into the chart's top 10. The lead single from WILD, 'Pinky Up,' has peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, the weekly ranking of the most consumed songs in the country.
The group's newest single, 'Animal,' released on 24 July, debuts at No. 10 on the Global 200 — Billboard's weekly ranking of the most consumed songs worldwide — on the chart dated 8 August. It is KATSEYE's first top-10 entry on that chart. According to Luminate, the data firm that supplies Billboard's charts, 'Animal' earned 29.8 million streams and 3,000 copies sold worldwide in its first week. The track was co-written with Ed Sheeran (Billboard).
Spotify's fan-event model is not entirely new territory for the platform. The streaming service regularly identifies an artist's top listeners through its internal data and sends those fans presale and merchandise emails, a practice detailed on its support pages (Spotify). Its Listening Party feature, which is available to Spotify Premium subscribers in certain markets, gives fans real-time access to artist-hosted sessions (Spotify). Klub KATSEYE appears to be a physical extension of that data-driven fan strategy — turning listening habits into a real-world experience.
The EP release day on 14 August will also see KATSEYE performing at the 2026 Citi Concert Series on TODAY, held at TODAY Plaza in Rockefeller Center in New York (Rockefeller Center).
Beyond release week, the group has a 2026 headline arena tour in the works. KATSEYE: THE WILDWORLD TOUR, covering the UK, EU and North America, was announced in May with tickets going on sale 21 May (Crypto.com Arena). The tour includes a stop at UBS Arena on 24 October 2026 (UBS Arena).
For fans, the first week of August offers a packed calendar: a private party in New York, chart numbers climbing worldwide, and an EP release landing the same day as a national television performance.
