Avi Nash Joins FX's 'Disinherited' as Series Regular

Avi Nash has landed a series regular role on the FX drama Disinherited, joining a cast that already includes Victoria Pedretti, Kiera Allen, Alan Ruck, Katja Herbers, Eddie Marsan, and Karl Glusman. Variety reported the casting exclusively on 5 August 2026. Nash becomes the latest addition to a project that has been building steadily since FX first ordered a pilot in June 2025 and then picked it up to a full series in March 2026 — meaning the pilot was shot first, passed muster, and earned a complete season order. The show's logline, as reported by Variety, sets up Pedretti and Kiera Allen as "a pair of scrappy sisters thrust by an unexpected inheritance into a world of generational wealth and long-buried crimes." Peter Gould, best known as co-creator and showrunner of AMC's Better Call Saul and a writer-producer on Breaking Bad, is the writer and executive producer. He also directed the pilot. Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue of T-Street — the production company behind Knives Out — executive produce alongside Thomas Schnauz. FX Productions is the studio. Variety
Nash is a familiar face across streaming and cable. He has played Lukas on the Apple TV+ series Silo since the show launched in 2023. Before that, he was Siddiq on AMC's The Walking Dead, appeared in HBO's Silicon Valley, and featured in films including Learning to Drive and There There. He also stars opposite Ethan Hawke and Russell Crowe in the drama feature The Weight, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is set for a theatrical release in September. Variety
For a general audience, a "series regular" commitment means Nash is contracted for every episode of the season rather than appearing as a guest or recurring player. His character's name and storyline details have not been disclosed.
The ensemble around him spans prestige drama and genre favourites. Pedretti broke out in Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House and You. Ruck is best known as Connor Roy on HBO's Succession. Marsan's credits include Ray Donovan and Happy-Go-Lucky. Herbers currently stars in the CBS drama Evil. Jonathan Higginbotham, also named in the cast, appeared in The Walking Dead alongside Nash.
Gould's involvement gives the project an immediate pedigree. Better Call Saul ran for six seasons on AMC and earned 46 Emmy nominations across its run. Pairing his writing with T-Street's producing apparatus — and a cast this deep — puts Disinherited on the list of scripted dramas that platforms will be watching closely when ratings land. FX has not yet announced a premiere date.
