Ariana Grande Tackles the Full Hogwarts Roster in a New Round of Harry Potter Impressions
Ariana Grande has posted a new set of Harry Potter character impressions, this time taking on Draco Malfoy, Professor McGonagall, Argus Filch and Luna Lovegood, among many others. The clip went up on TikTok from the account of her beauty brand, R.E.M. Beauty, where Grande was promoting a plumping lipgloss (Billboard).
The video runs through what amounts to the entire Hogwarts roster. Alongside the headline names, Grande channels house elf Kreacher's low, gravelly groaning and Dolores Umbridge's creepy high-pitched giggle, plus turns as Molly Weasley, Dobby, Moaning Myrtle and Harry Potter himself, according to a July Instagram reel from R.E.M. Beauty (Instagram).
This is the second round. An earlier R.E.M. Beauty clip in July featured Grande performing impressions of Ron Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange and Hermione Granger, alongside a video titled "where's my blur butter?" that spotlighted the brand's Blur product line (Billboard; Instagram).
Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy across the Harry Potter film series, responded on X. He wrote that he thought Grande was likely a Gryffindor. Grande replied that her official Pottermore house quiz had sorted her into Slytherin (Billboard).
The Potter postings arrive on the heels of a major chart moment for Grande. Her album Petal dropped on 31 July and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the chart that ranks the most popular albums in the US by combining sales and streaming data. It marks her seventh album to reach the top of that chart (Billboard).

The beauty content and the Potter impressions sit in the same frame, and neither apologises for the other.
