Ariana Grande Takes Half the Global Top 10 as 'petal' Debuts at No. 1

Ariana Grande holds the top two songs and five of the Billboard Global 200's top 10 on the chart dated 15 August 2026, while her new album petal enters the U.S.-based Billboard 200 at No. 1 — her seventh to do so. The Billboard Global 200 ranks songs by streaming and sales activity from more than 200 territories, compiled by the data firm Luminate.
'Hate That I Made You Love Me' rebounded from No. 3 for a third week at the summit, where it first debuted in June. The single drew 53.6 million streams worldwide — up 45% week over week — and 4,000 downloads sold, up 67%, for the 31 July–6 August tracking frame. Four of Grande's five top-10 entries this week are new arrivals: 'Petal' at No. 2, 'Kiss Me' at No. 5, 'Stay' at No. 7 and 'Oh Well' at No. 8. The haul pushes her career total to 13 top 10s on the Global 200 since the chart launched in 2020.
Her dominance extends to the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., which uses the same methodology but strips out American data. There, 'Hate That I Made You Love Me' climbed 4-2 after two weeks at No. 1 in June, 'Petal' opened at No. 3, and 'Kiss Me' started at No. 10. Grande now has 11 top 10s on that tally.
Shakira and Burna Boy's 'Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)' dropped two spots to No. 3 on the Global 200, ending a four-week reign that began in July. It held firm on the Global Excl. U.S. for a seventh week at No. 1, with 41.8 million streams and 4,000 sold outside the U.S. for the latest tracking week — both down from the prior frame. The FIFA World Cup wrapped on 19 July, three weeks before this chart.
Earlier in the tournament, 'Dai Dai' had been surging: 57.9 million global streams and 15,000 sold for the 17–23 July week, with U.S. streams accounting for less than the usual 25–30% share a Global 200 hit draws from American listeners. It is the fourth official World Cup song to reach the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100, and the second by Shakira.
Elsewhere on the Global 200, Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' fell one spot to No. 4 from its No. 2 peak. On the Global Excl. U.S., BTS' 'Swim' slipped 3-4 after eight non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 since April, and Justin Bieber's 'Beauty and a Beat,' featuring Nicki Minaj, dropped 2-5 after topping that chart for two weeks in May.

For Grande, 'Hate That I Made You Love Me' has been the through-line of the summer. The single launched at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June with 23.6 million U.S. streams in its first week — her tenth chart-topper on that tally — and also hit No. 1 on the U.K.'s Official Singles Chart and the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart. Now the album behind it has landed, and the streaming totals are climbing, not fading.
