Camp Rock 3 Premieres This Week: Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers Return to Camp

Demi Lovato is back as Mitchie Torres. The Jonas Brothers are back as Connect 3. And on August 10, 2026, Disney rolled out the red carpet — literally — at The Walt Disney Studio Lot in Burbank, California, for the world premiere of Camp Rock 3.
Photos from the premiere, published by Deadline on August 11, 2026, confirm Lovato walked the carpet alongside Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, plus new cast members Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, and Sherry Cola. The red-carpet event puts to rest any lingering question about whether Lovato would appear on screen. As recently as early July, a report in the Palm Beach Post (published July 2, 2026) noted that while the Jonas Brothers were set to reprise their roles, Lovato's on-screen involvement was still unconfirmed. She is in.
The film itself arrives quickly. Camp Rock 3 premieres on Disney Channel on August 13, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, then lands on Disney+ the following day, according to Deadline. It is part of the August 2026 programming slate for both Disney+ and Hulu, as listed in Disney's press materials (published July 16, 2026).
The story picks up with Connect 3 — the band played by the three Jonas Brothers — losing their opening act for a major reunion tour. They head back to Camp Rock to find a replacement, which is where the new generation of campers comes in.
Returning cast members include Lovato as Mitchie Torres, Joe Jonas as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas as Nate Gray, Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray, and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie, per Deadline. The new faces are considerable: Liamani Segura as Sage, Malachi Barton as Fletch, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Sherry Cola as Lark, Hudson Stone as Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, and Ava Jean as Madison.
Behind the camera, the film is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye. Choreography comes from Jamal Sims, whose credits span film and television. Disney Kids & Family produces.
The executive producer bench is deep: Tim Federle, all three Jonas Brothers, Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh — the last of whom was a central figure in Disney Channel's original golden era of music-driven originals.
Disney built a promotional runway well ahead of the premiere. The studio released an official trailer on July 21, 2026, and launched an "All Roads Lead to Camp" bus tour starting July 3, 2026, as announced in Disney press materials (published July 2, 2026). The Camp Rock 3 soundtrack is already available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon, per Disney's press site.
For fans who grew up with the first two films — the original Camp Rock debuted in 2008, with Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam following in 2010 — the eighteen-year gap makes this return a generational event. A new set of younger viewers will meet Camp Rock for the first time, while the cast they watched as kids are now adults running the place.
