Love & Marriage: Huntsville Returns for Season 12 on OWN This September
OWN's hit reality series Love & Marriage: Huntsville is back for a 12th season on Saturday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with a trailer already out and the full cast confirmed (Deadline, 11 August 2026).
The network ordered 30 additional episodes when it renewed the show in May 2026, a signal of confidence backed up by viewership that grew by double digits across all key demographic groups compared with the previous season (Variety, 11 May 2026). OWN also said the series ranked as the number-one original cable programme on Saturday nights among African-American women aged 25–54 — a key demographic for advertisers.
Eight cast members return: Destiny Payton, Kimmi Scott, Maurice Scott, Martell Holt, Nell Fletcher, Chris Fletcher, LaTisha Scott, and Marsau Scott. Each brings a different storyline into the new season.
Martell Holt hits a personal milestone by earning his builder's licence, but a surprise introduction threatens to upend group dynamics and test his friendship with Destiny Payton. Marsau and LaTisha Scott approach their 20th wedding anniversary while dealing with the loss of their first residential investment property. Nell Fletcher takes on the role of full-time caregiver to her ageing father. Maurice and Kimmi Scott, now empty nesters, adjust to unexpected change and grapple with concerns about Maurice's son's future.
The show is produced by Kingdom Reign Entertainment and ITV America, with Carlos King, Jordana Hochman, Andrew Hoagland, and Markus Burns as executive producers. King, a veteran of reality television, has been the creative force behind the franchise since its launch.
Love & Marriage: Huntsville has grown into a reliable Saturday-night anchor for OWN. An NAACP Image Award nomination sits on its résumé, and the franchise has already expanded once before: in February 2022, OWN ordered a Washington, D.C.-set spinoff starring Real Housewives of Potomac alumni Monique and Chris Samuels (Deadline, 16 February 2022).
For fans of the show, the 30-episode order means a long run of new drama is ahead. For OWN, it keeps a proven ratings performer firmly in its Saturday-night slot heading into autumn.
