MobLand Season 2 Premieres September 18 on Paramount+ — Tom Hardy Returns as the Harrigans' Fixer

MobLand comes back for its second season on September 18, and the Harrigan crime family is tearing itself apart.

Paramount+ confirmed the premiere date alongside a full-length trailer released on its YouTube channel on July 27, following an earlier teaser that dropped on July 9 (YouTube). The series streams exclusively on Paramount+, with new episodes arriving weekly on Fridays across a 10-episode run that wraps with a finale on November 20 (Variety).

The show follows two warring crime families based in London: the Harrigans, who rule North London, and their rivals, the Stevensons (Paramount+). Tom Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the Harrigans' loyal fixer — the person who cleans up messes and keeps the family intact. This season, that job gets harder. A civil war threatens the Harrigans from within, and Harry is caught trying to hold the pieces together while violence spills into every corner of their lives.

The Season 2 logline, as reported by Variety, reads: "As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy."

Hardy leads a cast that includes Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, with Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones filling out the ensemble (Variety). The series is produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, with Guy Ritchie among the executive producers alongside Hardy, Jez Butterworth, David C. Glasser, and others.

Behind the scenes, Hardy's involvement in the show hit a rough patch. According to Variety, the actor exited MobLand after a fallout with producers, but a meeting in London with senior show executives led to a breakthrough — paving the way for a potential return in a third season. A Season 3 renewal has not been formally announced, but Variety reports it is considered all but guaranteed given the show's performance on Paramount+.

For fans, the headline is straightforward: Hardy is back for Season 2, the Harrigans and Stevensons are at war, and there are ten weeks of new episodes ahead. The prospect of a third season — and whether Hardy's return extends beyond that — remains unofficial, but the show's momentum on the platform makes it a strong possibility rather than a long shot.
