Cardi B sang along to KATSEYE's "Hootie Frutti" on Instagram Live, performing parts of the choreography and pushing back against listeners who have criticised the track since its release.
During the Live session, Cardi B named the song's supporters in her household directly: "Y'all hating on the song [but] me, Kulture ... and Blossom love it." Kulture is her daughter with Offset; Blossom is her younger daughter, born in 2024. Billboard

"Hootie Frutti" arrived on Friday, August 14 as part of KATSEYE's EP "WILD." The song is built on Brazilian phonk-inspired percussion — phonk being a hip-hop subgenre rooted in 1990s Memphis rap and now widely fused with Brazilian baile funk rhythms — layered with maximalist pop production.
