Country singer Ian Munsick and Schaefer Outfitter drop first-ever collaboration collection

Country artist Ian Munsick released his fourth studio album, The Mountain Goat, on Friday, August 14, 2026 — and alongside it, a capsule collection with Schaefer Outfitter, the Wyoming-based Westernwear brand that has been dressing working cowboys and ranchers for four decades. The collection launched on August 18, 2026, according to an Instagram post from Munsick's account.

For Schaefer Outfitter, it is the brand's first-ever collaboration collection, per its own website. The partnership is built on shared Wyoming roots and a mutual appreciation for quality Western wear.

Munsick and his wife, Caroline, designed the collection in partnership with Schaefer Outfitter, providing direction on design, artwork, fabric details and name inspiration, WWD reported. The range includes pearl snap shirts — a Westernwear staple with snap buttons rather than standard button closures — along with outerwear, hats and graphic T-shirts. The collection is made for men and women, and includes XS sizing for kids, according to a video posted on Munsick's Facebook page.

Munsick said in a statement that the clothing line was finally available and that he would wear every piece both on stage and on the ranch in Wyoming. Jason Smith, chief executive officer of Schaefer Outfitter, said in a statement that the entire team was thankful to be part of Munsick's journey and that his commitment to quality, creativity and giving back aligned with the brand's core values, WWD reported.

Schaefer Outfitter was founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and has spent roughly 40 years outfitting working cowboys and ranchers — not runway models. That working-ranch pedigree gives the collaboration a specific texture: Munsick lives and works in Wyoming, and the garments are designed to function both on a stage and on horseback.

The album itself is substantial. The Mountain Goat features 15 tracks, and Munsick plays nine different instruments across the record, WWD reported. Following the album's release, Munsick's tour stops where Schaefer Outfitter accompanied him in the American West included Park City, Utah; Laramie, Wyoming; and Deadwood, South Dakota — where fans could see and try on collection pieces in person.
