Weezer's 20th studio album — a self-titled record nicknamed the Gold Album — began streaming at midnight on 21 August 2026, arriving via Reprise/Warner Records on all popular formats. The Gold Album is Weezer's latest self-titled release in a discography that has used colour-coded nicknames for its untitled records since the 1994 "Blue Album." The band announced the record in a June 2026 post on their official Instagram, confirming the 21 August date and describing it as their 20th album.
