KATSEYE member Megan Skiendiel showed fans her sprained ankle — bruised and visibly swollen — during a September 1 livestream on Weverse, the fan platform where artists interact directly with followers, days after the injury forced the group to pull out of the Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California.

Megan, a 20-year-old from Hawaii, told fans in an Instagram Story that she sprained the ankle during tour rehearsals and that doctors advised her to stay off it so she could heal in time for the tour. The group had announced on August 27 that it would not perform at Daisy Chain Fields, a festival curated by Olivia Rodrigo, because of the injury. The set had been scheduled for August 29. KATSEYE said in its withdrawal statement that Megan would need to rest while the ankle healed, and Megan herself said she was heartbroken to miss the festival, particularly because of what it stands for, and sent her love to Rodrigo Billboard.

Alt-pop singer Devon Again filled KATSEYE's slot at the festival. Megan, along with members Yoonchae and Lara, still made a brief on-stage appearance to introduce Baby2Baby, one of the charities that received proceeds from the event Billboard.

The ankle injury is the latest lineup disruption for the six-member group. KATSEYE kicked off its Wildworld Tour on Tuesday in Dublin with only four members on stage. Manon has been on hiatus since February, and Sophia temporarily stepped away from the band in August. That leaves the tour without a full roster at a moment when the group's commercial profile is at its highest: the band's EP WILD debuted atop the Billboard 200, the flagship US album chart that tracks consumption across sales and streaming, marking KATSEYE's first-ever No. 1 on that chart Billboard.

For fans, the livestream offered a direct look at what the withdrawal cost. Megan's ankle was badly swollen, with visible bruising, and her doctors' guidance was firm: stay off it. The group has not announced a timeline for Megan's return to the stage, nor for Sophia's or Manon's. In the meantime, the Wildworld Tour continues with a reduced lineup.
