Icehouse will play their 1987 album Man of Colours in full for the first time on a six-date Australian tour in June and July 2027. The run marks the 40th anniversary of the band's fifth studio album and will be led by Iva Davies, according to Billboard.

The band said the dates will be its first indoor headline run in more than 20 years. The anniversary shows will include songs from Man of Colours the group has never performed live. Special guests are still to be announced.

The tour opens at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on June 5, 2027. It then moves to Brisbane Entertainment Centre on June 12 and TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney on June 19.

The second half covers Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on June 26, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on July 3 and RAC Arena in Perth on July 10. Six cities. Five weeks.

Fan-club and PayPal presales begin on Sept. 16. General tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. local time on Sept. 18 via promoter TEG Live.

Man of Colours was released in September 1987. It spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Australian albums chart, topped the New Zealand albums chart and has sold more than one million copies. It won Album of the Year and Highest Selling Album at Australia's ARIA Awards in 1988.

The album produced the band's only Australian No. 1 single, "Electric Blue". The song was co-written by Davies and John Oates of Hall & Oates. It reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart, and remains Icehouse's highest-charting single in the United States.

Follow-up single "Crazy" reached No. 14 on the Hot 100. Both songs reached the top 10 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. The album itself peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart.

The 2027 setlists will go beyond the anniversary album. The shows will also feature "Great Southern Land", "Hey Little Girl", "We Can Get Together" and "Love in Motion".

For fans, this means a rare chance to hear the whole record in order, alongside the earlier songs that carried the band through the 1980s.
