AC Milan names Boggi Milano as formalwear partner

AC Milan are swapping streetwear for tailoring.
Boggi Milano, the Milan-based menswear company, is the club's new official formalwear partner. The deal covers the off-pitch wardrobe, the suits worn for travel, arrivals and official events, for the men's and women's first teams as well as technical staff and management, according to WWD.
AC Milan, the Serie A football club, ended a three-year style partnership with Off-White, the fashion label, before signing with Boggi Milano. Serie A is Italy's top football division. Formalwear, in football terms, means the matching suits players wear when they are on club duty but not in kit.
The first wardrobe centres on two Made in Italy suits. One is a grey pinstripe double-breasted suit, cut with overlapping fronts and two rows of buttons, made from 'Perennial' cloth from Vitale Barberis Canonico, the Italian wool mill. It is paired with a red tie.
The second option is a slate double-breasted suit with contrasting red details. It is worn with a vest in technical fabric, a lightweight synthetic material made for stretch and ease of movement. Both looks dress the men's and women's squads in the same tailoring block, with cuts adapted for each team.
Boggi Milano also holds a wider football role. It is the official formalwear outfitter and licensee of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, FIFA being football's world governing body. A licensee holds the right to make and sell approved products around a tournament.
The collaboration was launched with an evening event at the Boggi building in central Milan. The men's team is scheduled to debut the outfits on Sunday against Lecce in a Serie A match marking the 100th anniversary of San Siro stadium, the club's home ground. The women's team will first wear the looks against Juventus, the Turin club, next month.
For fans, this means the arrival look changes. Expect fewer hoodies at the airport and more matching lapels. Boggi Milano will dress the first teams for official engagements in Italy and abroad for the length of the partnership.
