Zendaya Debuts Pixie Cut at 2026 Emmys With Tom Holland

Zendaya walked into the 2026 Emmy Awards with a pixie cut, Tom Holland beside her, and two jobs to do.
The 78th Emmy Awards, the annual US television prizes, were held inside Los Angeles' Peacock Theater. Zendaya attended with Holland. She was there as both a presenter, someone who hands out an award, and a nominee, someone shortlisted for one, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Her red-carpet look centred on Prada with Mikimoto jewels. The dress was cut low at the front and finished with silver beads, as described by Page Six. The hair was the talking point. The cropped pixie replaced her longer recent styles.
Zendaya presented the prize for lead actress in a comedy series, the top acting award for women leading a comedy show. Jean Smart took it for Hacks. Co-presenter Marcello Hernandez added a light moment when he invited Zendaya and Holland to dinner at his house.
On the nominations side, Zendaya was shortlisted for best actress in a drama series, the equivalent top award for women leading a drama. The nod was for playing Rue Bennett in the third and final season of HBO's Euphoria. She was listed alongside Carrie Coon, Chase Infiniti, Keri Russell and Rhea Seehorn. Seehorn won for Pluribus.
That contest carried history. It was Zendaya's third nomination for best drama actress. She had already won the category in 2020 and 2022. The Television Academy lists her overall with six nominations and two wins, according to Television Academy.
Attention now turns to film. Zendaya will next appear in Dune: Part Three. It is set for theatrical release on Dec. 18.
For fans, this means a clear handover. Euphoria has finished after three seasons. The Emmys night closed that television chapter, with a big-screen return already dated.
