Mediacorp and Blintn Order 12-Part 'Collateral Romance' for 2027

Singapore broadcaster Mediacorp and South Korean studio Blintn have ordered Collateral Romance, a 12-episode romantic comedy to be filmed across Singapore and South Korea.
The series is set to premiere in the first half of 2027, according to Variety. The shoot spans two countries. Broadcast details will be announced later, Mediacorp said in its release.
Kim Myung-soo and Pyo Ye-jin will play the leads. Singapore actress Gladys Bay joins the cast. No character or plot details have been disclosed yet.
Behind the camera, Kang Min-goo will direct from a script by writer Lee Do-yeon. Woo Saejin serves as chief producer, with Leong Lye Lin as Singapore executive producer, the executive overseeing the local side of the production. Bigwave Entertainment is the production house.
The show is Mediacorp's second Korean drama co-production, meaning a series made jointly by partners in two countries. It is supported by Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). Mediacorp said the project brings together creative and production expertise from Singapore and South Korea, according to Mediacorp.
For viewers, this means a wait. Cameras have two locations to cover before any air date is locked. The next update to watch for is where and when the 12 parts will air.
