Kenny Chesney sets 2027 stadium tour from Tampa to Foxborough

Kenny Chesney will launch the Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 on April 24 in Tampa, Florida. The run is billed as a stadium tour, which means dates in large open-air grounds built for tens of thousands of people. Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and Greylan James will join him on the road, according to Billboard.

Tampa gets the first night. Chesney will play Raymond James Stadium on April 24. It will be his eighth appearance at that stadium. Repeat bookings of that kind matter to crews and venues, because the load-in, sound plan and crowd flow are already known.

The route then moves through several major live markets. Confirmed stops include Chicago, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Nashville. The tour will then close on Aug. 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. That start in late April and finish in late August keeps the whole run inside the outdoor season.

The Foxborough finale carries a number of its own. It will be Chesney's 25th show at Gillette Stadium. The tally counts his previous appearances at the venue alongside the 2027 date. It makes the stadium the most-played ground on his touring record.

Church, Crow and James are listed as guests on the 2027 dates. Support acts on a bill of this size usually play earlier in the evening before the headliner. No city-by-city breakdown has been disclosed for who appears where. The announcement names all three as part of the wider tour party.

New music will arrive before any of those stages. Chesney will release Silver Sands Marina on Sept. 25. It is described as an 11-song album. It will be his 21st album, which puts 20 full-length releases behind it, according to Billboard.

That album also starts a business chapter. Silver Sands Marina will be his first release on Hey Now Records, his own independent label. Independent here means operating outside the three major groups, Universal, Sony and Warner. The label will handle the release, with Chesney retaining direct control of the masters, the original recordings that earn revenue from sales, streams and licensing.

For fans, this means the order is straightforward. First the album in September. Then the wait through winter. Then stadiums from Tampa to Foxborough in spring and summer. Ticket details, including prices in US dollars and on-sale dates, have not been set out in the material confirmed so far.
