Offset opens late-night NEED FM hotline ahead of new single

Offset wants fans to call him after hours.

The rapper opened his late-night NEED FM line on Sept. 15, inviting listeners to ring in and ask for advice. The launch was organised around his next release. His single “Something I Need” arrives on Sept. 18, according to Billboard.

The number is 470-742-6949. Fans are asked to leave a message, and Offset said he will return calls with a voice note. The advice on offer is broad, from relationships to getting money up.

The line is described as a relationship hotline, according to Channel 955. That framing fits the new song title. Offset is a father of six.

He set one ground rule for callers. Do not call “with all that cap.” Cap is slang for lies or exaggeration. In short: keep it honest.

The hotline shares its theme with the single rollout. Offset teased “Something I Need” with cover art showing him in the water holding a woman. He followed it with a nautical-themed clip of a party on a yacht, all ropes, deck and open water.

The single is his first major solo move since his album Kiari. That album was released in September 2025. It debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, the US chart that ranks albums each week.

There is also movement on his group history. Fellow Migos member Quavo said he and Offset plan to reunite for one final Migos album and a tour. The planned album would feature posthumous vocals from Takeoff, the third member of the group. Takeoff was fatally shot in Houston in November 2022.

What makes this stand out is the format. Many artists take questions through social media comments or short video replies. Offset is asking fans to pick up the phone, leave a message at night and wait for a call back.
