Jason Kelce's Daughters Called Taylor Swift by Her Full Name

Jason Kelce's daughters met "Aunt Tay Tay" and called her "Taylor Swift" instead.
Travis Kelce shared the family story on the Sept. 16 episode of New Heights, the podcast he hosts with his brother Jason. He said his nieces greeted Swift with her full first and last name when he and Swift first started dating, according to E! News.
Travis said he thought it was "adorable", according to Billboard. The girls stuck with the formal version. No shortened first name. No nickname.
Jason then did his best impression of those early meetings. "Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift!" he said. He told them at the time: "You can call her 'Taylor.'"
The nickname they had to unlearn was "Aunt Tay Tay." Travis said that was what the children called Swift before they met her. Once she was in the room, the full pop-star name took over.
Jason had a theory for why. When somebody gets that famous, you just call the person by their full name. He put Swift in the same group as Tom Cruise.
That comparison started the whole conversation. Cruise sat next to Swift in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos on Monday, Sept. 14. The brothers were talking about the actor's appearance when the subject turned to famous full names.
People reported that the exchange came during the Sept. 16 episode discussion of that game-night meeting, in a segment about the first time the children met Swift.
What makes this stand out is how ordinary it is. Four young nieces, faced with a very famous new aunt, chose the most polite option they knew. They used both names, loudly and repeatedly, until their dad told them one would do.
