The Traitors Season 5 Cast Revealed for New Year Launch

Kristin Chenoweth, Chloe Kim and Bianca Del Rio are going into the castle. The Traitors Season 5 will launch in the new year with a 23-person cast, Deadline reported.

The line-up pulls from across television. It includes Chenoweth, RuPaul's Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio, comic Boman Martinez-Reid and actor Casey Wilson. The Real Housewives contingent brings Bronwyn Newport of Salt Lake City, Cynthia Bailey of Atlanta and Gizelle Bryant of Potomac.

Sport is well represented. Two-time Olympic snowboard champion Chloe Kim joins alongside swimmer turned pop singer Cody Simpson and former NFL running back Rashad Jennings. Actor Dominic Monaghan, Love Island USA narrator Iain Stirling and creator Emira D'Spain are also in the cast.

Reality competition winners and favourites make up a large block. The mix is wide. Big Brother winners Jag Bains and Taylor Hale will play, with Love Island USA finalist JaNa Craig, Bachelor lead Joey Graziadei and Southern Charm star Craig Conover alongside them.

The game-playing experience runs deep. Survivor winners Michele Fitzgerald and Q Burdette join The Challenge champion Rachel Robinson. The cast is rounded out by actor Johnny Sibilly and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt.

Alan Cumming will return as host, People reported. He fronts the US series, which gathers faithfuls and traitors in a country house murder-mystery game where players vote each other out to win prize money.

For fans, this means a familiar blend. There are strategists from Survivor, Big Brother and The Challenge next to Housewives, soap-style reality stars and big-stage performers. No traitors or faithfuls have been assigned yet. That reveal usually comes at the start of the series.
