Daredevil: Born Again to End With Season 3 on Disney+

Daredevil: Born Again will end with its third season on Disney+.

Deadline reported on 21 September 2026 that Season 3 will be the last for the Marvel series starring Charlie Cox. The final season is set to premiere in 2027.

Filming is done. Production on Season 3 has wrapped, according to the same report. The cast was told in calls on the morning of 21 September 2026 that the show would not continue beyond Season 3.

The decision closes the run relatively quickly. The series, centred on blind lawyer Matt Murdock and his masked alter ego, launched with nine episodes on Disney+ on 4 March 2025. It was renewed for Season 3 in September 2025, with production then expected to begin in early 2026.

The first season started strongly by Disney's own measure. It drew 7.5 million viewers worldwide in its first five days, the best Disney+ series premiere of 2025. Season 2 did not hold that level in the United States, with U.S. viewership down by about 50%, according to Luminate data cited by Deadline.

Cox leads an ensemble familiar to long-term fans. Vincent D'Onofrio co-stars as Wilson Fisk, with Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye. Season 2 brought back Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, while the Season 1 finale brought back Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher.

Marvel's official synopsis for Season 3 sets up a direct clash. It describes Mayor Wilson Fisk crushing New York City underfoot while hunting Daredevil as public enemy number one. Marvel frames Season 1 as Murdock fighting from the shadows to tear down Fisk's corrupt empire.

For fans, this means one full season is left to finish the story. The writers and crew have a locked endpoint to work toward before the 2027 launch.
